NFL 2022

Just wait until JB needs a contract, bengals notoriously don't give guaranteed contracts out do they because owner doesn't have much liquid cash

I’ve been reading about this..also when it comes to paying..Higgins..Boyd and Chase..there’s no way they’ll be able to pay them three their worth and keep under the salary cap.

Higgins and Boyd will be gone I feel. Already rumours about Higgins this offseason so in future I reckon it will be a cert

I’m still not convinced that Burrow will sign..if he thinks he’s going to lose two of his main weapons..personally i think it’ll be just Boyd..and the O line is like a patchwork quilt..and the Bengals have this reputation of being ‘cheap’..could get messy.

So after Jackson and Burrow leave and Watson gets locked up Steelers can then dominate the division with Picketts little hands, sounds good to me.

I thought Jackson would end up signing with the Ravens when he realises he's not getting the money elsewhere but after that statement yesterday he's doubling down on it, he'll probably end up losing more money over this than he gains.

Seen a stat saying he's made $62m less than Josh Allen in previous 2 years by betting on himself.

Lamar Jackson the player : Generational Talent
Lamar Jackson the agent : Not very good

Ravens front office have played a blinder imo. People forget Ray Lewis requested a trade from us back in the day but re-signed so not out the realms of possibilities but his tweet sounded pretty concrete that he's played his last snap for us.

New year/season thread.....

I wouldn’t call Jackson a generational talent..he’s very good but generational talent..no….not yet.

As in changing how QBs can't just be pocket passers I think he is. Absolutely eclipsed all rushing records for a qb and has a win/loss ratio up there with the very best

Seems a lot but pretty much the going rate looking at players with the same salary this year. By all accounts we put that offer in to stop him visiting with Jets as planned
Genuinely think it's just to get Lamar on side. Basically an olive branch to get him to play on the tag this year (I doubt we manage to get signed to a long term deal).
