Hartlepool United

Dusted down me passport and off to Wales........... Cardiff v Sunderland on Monday then Newport v Hartlepools on Saturday!!!!!!!!

Be nice to come home via Salford with Nine Points..... but life can't be that perfect, can it ?!!!?!?!?..... 🤷‍♂️

Ha'way the Lads and Up the Pools!!!!

Great win for Hartlepool, puts them right in the mix. Would love to see Crawley go, they offer nothing to the FL.

Some brilliant fixtures coming up in the next fortnight at all levels…

Wrexham v Notts Co on Monday
Carlisle v Northampton next Saturday
South Shields v Warrington same day
Hartlepool v Crawley Saturday after
Man City v Arsenal 26th April

Great that there’s so much to play for going into last month of the season for a change 👍

Agree.
Hartlepool looked doomed a few weeks back but they have found that form and beaten two teams that have given up for the season.
Want Hartlepool to stay up at the expense of Crawley. Equally would not be bothered seeing Colchester or Harrogate relegated.

Can only hope we help Hartlepool out the last game of the season, definitely something for us to play for in that one.
Hartlepool v Crawley - that is one big game.

Carlisle in with a big shout Mate. This league is poor.

Aye, the Hartlepool Crawley game‘s massive mate, I think the vast majority of neutrals will be willing Hartlepool on. Crawley and Stevenage are a stain on league two tbh.

You’re bang on saying about the quality of the league this season, can’t think of a good side I’ve seen so far. Tranmere were a bit like Grimsby yesterday, perfect side to face, mid-table, nowt to play for, just rolled over in all honesty. Carlisle still got Northampton, Salford and Stockport to play yet, all at home though, so anything could happen!

Orient for me.
Wellens is a cracking Manager.

Speaking of Hartlepool - anyone know anywhere around here likely to show the Sunderland game on the red button against whatever the main game is? Headland ideally but can travel - stuck at the mother in laws today!

Hoping to get to Newport on Saturday doubtful but never say never. Big afternoon ahead first though

From looking dead in the water a few weeks ago, Pools destiny is now in their own hands. The Crawley game is the big one, with winner takes all connotations. There no doubt will be more twists and turns on the way, and could well go down to the wire/final game.

Its amazing how a team can be improved with common sense football management, selecting the right players, and playing them in their best positions in the best formation ,for starters. Amazing how many modern day managers can't seem to be able to do this.

I'm hopeful that Pools will continue to build on recent good results, and get something from the game today, though today's opponents won't be a pushover.

I'm away off to the 1908 bar, to meet up with my Pools mates, for a few slurps and to talk absolute & utter footy bollix. 🍻
