I just loved being in the bars with the locals.
Was chatting away with so many, no edge, nothing just decent wonderful people that love their respective club.

Just love the people of Hartlepool so many stories this weekend.

Drinking Port with the Landlord of the Globe, laughing with the Landlady about Barry’s Bargain Store.
Twitchers all around where we were staying with cameras in search of a picture of a Firecrest. Local lass all dolled up, just having a nosy what was going on, right on laugh with her.
I‘ve learnt about Egg jarping, learnt about putting half a pint of Strong arm in the fridge, topping it up gives a head like a hat. You don’t take the top off a pint of strong arm (daft Swindon lad).
Get yerself in Gately’s lad, I’ve picked up a bull dog in the kebab shop - nice chap and owner was a cracking lad.

Went back in the Globe yesterday afternoon to say my Goodbyes and had to sing to the lounge bar, the “Swindon tractor song.”
Been invited back next season.🍺


@Horley Chorley - Was cracking having a few beers with you Mate. Hope our paths cross again. Still laughing you coming in the away end. introduced you to more Wurzel Gummidge‘s, noticed your accent had changed by 5pm 😂

The beaches are just stunning.Ted is done for. Met Barney the Black Lab yesterday and besotted, kept running back to see him much to the laughter of his owner.
Up at 7 this Morning walked around the coast and could see Sunderland in the distance.

Ohh and Swindon are as soft as shite with lack of depth and no game management.
All about what we do close season now.

Ha‘way the lads and Ha’way Hartlepool - Stay up and it‘s a party booked for next season.
Its more than 90 minutes, always has been.⚽️👍

I totally forgot about the egg jarping contest, in the Corner Flag. 😁
A collieries version of conkers, but with hard boiled eggs.

Aye, my accent had changed drastically by the time I left you at full time.
I even took out a subscription to West Country Farmers Wives, adult magazine. 🫣 🤣

Very disappointed that there was a bigger queue at the pie stall, than the beer stall at half time.
Definitely a trait which is alien to us north easterners. 🍻

You've a cracking & very vociferous travelling support, and those people I said hello to, were all friendly & happy to chat, and I must say, how much I enjoyed watching the game, and appreciated the effort put in by both teams (Swindon's first half, and Pools second half)

Hopefully Pools stay up, and we get to do it all over again next season, and maybe a few more posters will turn out for a few pre match pints, and a chinwag.

Massive game for Hartlepool today.

Ha’way the Pool, don’t let me down.
Definitely one game I will have an interest in today.
Equally come on Wednesday.
 
Mo Sylla not in the squad must be injured. Big miss he’s been top class.

Featherstone comes in, doesn’t seem to have the legs anymore.

Massive game again, come on pools. I’ll be watching this at 3 then us at 5.30pm.
