Who here has suffered most physical pain?

Impacted wisdom tooth that was just exposed enough to start decaying. That was lively.

All four out under general anaesthetic put it right though.

Had a nosebleed that wouldn’t stop….

No wait. Honestly. The rupture in my nose was very close to an artery. Over the course of three days in Sunderland Royal. I had two operations to pack my nose. And a few blood transfusions to keep me going.

I bled through the first pack they put in, and was rushed back in for a second op. It was packed this time from inside my nose, and this second time from behind on the soft pallet. Now I couldn’t talk and was constantly drooling. It hurt just breathing. I lost two days with this, woke up twice and it was dark on different days. After 4 hours in the middle of the night I bled through this second pack too.

The specialist then suggested a procedure that way work - but he’d only done it a few times. This is where the real pain started. He said he would remove the pack in my nose and throat without general anaesthetic and it would hurt. When a specialist tells you it’s going to hurt he/she isn’t lying. 😂 once it was all out, here comes part two. He now was going to inject all up the inside of my nose with adrenaline. I’ve never to this day experienced pain like that last night.

The adrenaline injections worked, which is just as well, as the next step was to open my face up and cauterise the artery.

One of the nurses on the ward I was on said she’d rather give birth than what I went through those few days 😅

Attila the Hun know as Flagellum Dei (“Scourge of God”) by the Romans who slaughtered an estimated 3 million innocent civillains (not counting troops in opposing armies) died of a nose bleed.

BTW

Caught me willy in my trouser zip once. It was more painful getting it back out

Appendix blowing up as a kid.
Severely burned as a baby and had to be placed on a crucifix type thing to stop me tearing off the bandages. Screamed constantly for two weeks apparently. Thankfully I was too young to remember it now.
😳

Tore my acl landing from a header, that wasn’t fun, struggled to breath it was so painful, knee looked like an alcoholic Xmas pud in seconds

Anyone who has broken their heal bones will probably win this. I've seen very strong people reduced to tears running down their face because of the pain
Mate of mine was roping an old bale trailer of straw, used a rope that he"d slung over to pull himself up to get onto the top of the stack (to sort the other ropes out as they were all over the shop). Rope snapped, he fell landed on his heel on a cobble stone in the yard and shattered it. He was in tears with the pain, still dosnt walk right now.

Snapped elbow and wrist bringing washing in cos the mrs (no) was hassling me during arsenal thrashing man utd game. Didnt know bout wrist til next day

Couldnt get sorted on day so next day i went back the same radiolgist just flipped my arm for the scan. Not pleasant

Fell down three steps when moving, mattress landed on me and i broke the other elbow

My nephew stabbed me in ear and perforated my ear drum. This one i dont count as a loss cos i used it successfully to say i hadnt heard whatever mrs was blabbing on about for bout six months

Burst my stomach with the handlebars of my bmx, didn't break the skin just went through me and burst my stomach, surgeon reckons I even had bruising on my back, was unlucky but also very lucky it missed my vital organs, that knacked like.
Nee food or drink for 10 days in hospital over Christmas, was shite 😂
