Attendance Thread - Fulham

27-30k for a mid-week 4th round of the cup is decent. A lot of our fan base travel in from far so its a big effort for a 7:45pm KO if people are working. We also have a large number of families too, who are less likely to go on a school night (my two aren't going tomorrow). If this had been a Saturday game i reckon there'd be 35k there. Which for us, in recent history, is a great cup crowd.
If it was on a Saturday and not on tele. It would have been 40k plus. If this game wasn't on TV and still the same night as it is. It would have been around 35k imo

That is ridiculous, mind it's only as ridiculous as you "very rarely hearing mackem accents at Sunderland games." Haway man.

Bob Murray once stated, cant remember exact figure but about a third of ST holders were within the city.

Thats a small amount compared to msny clubs id imagine.

Pits/shipyards etc etc ensured msny, including relatives of mine fecked off afar in thr 80s. I love the makeup of our fans, from allover the shop.

I also love the fact, in my experience, no matter what your accent, birthplace or where you live, you will always have a friendly face brought together by the love of our club

It's great like, obviously been passed down through generations. I went to Gillingham away last season and the section I was in could have been a Chelsea away game with the amount of cockney accents.

But it's still ridiculous to say you rarely hear a mackem accent at a Sunderland game.

I think he used the post codes so this would leave out. NE and DH codes etc?
