Things at the club are progress it seems -need to sort the under 21s and get them winning and jobs a good un

There looks a fair chance 2 or 3 of these u18s won’t spend much time in the 21s/23s and will land in the 1st team squad, assuming they keep their heads right and feet on the ground,imo. Hope so anyway.

Once the 18s move up to 21s we will be a much better team at that level. They are nearly there now to be honest.

After Xmas I’m going to have a wander along to watch these -keep the info coming in everyone -it’s great seeing our young uns doing well …if there is this “ pathway “ to the 1st team must make the club attractive to players .

How do you think that we'll fare for the 18s next season? Got a good mix of ages covering which is great, but depends on players development I guess whether they move up or stay in 18s. Also if they stay together. 21s will be good next year, some good footballers and strong characters.

It’s good to hear this stuff-tin hat on but KLD attends the under 21 games and for me that does show a great commitment to the long term progress of the club .
What you are saying here backs that up as well -he seems really keen ( I kna could be for several reasons ) to get everything right from top to bottom-small strides but good to hear

Ageee he's been brilliant on and off the pitch. He's given them the confidence to just go out and expresses themselves. And if they make a mistake don't worry about it, at least you've tried to do something.

That's exactly how it should be. Not afraid to make mistakes, less pressure= less mistakes you make. What you learn, put into practice. All adds up.

That's perfect. It's not about results at that age (or anywhere except the first team really), it's about development and you need the right atmosphere (one in which players aren't afraid to make mistakes) for that to happen effectively.

As it happens, if you do create that atmosphere then results will often follow anyway.
