I would if I knew any, I didn't agree with that anyway. The same goes every russian isn't a bad person because of the crazy man in charge of the countryperhaps you should ask all the various Russian athletes that were sanctioned that very question...
What a f***ing stupid thing to do. Someone needs shooting with shit for it. Disgusted.
I've already emailed Chris the SLO.

It's usually the address that gets responded to.
Imagine defending playing a team from Saudi Arabia.
NoWe going to refuse to play the Mags then?
KLD possibly looking for a buyerIt just comes across as the club trying to feed off the Saudi crumbs from the mags.
This...an own goal Santiago Vergini would be proud ofMain financial supporter the former defence minister of Saudi who orchestrated bombings in Yemen?
A completely unnecessary friendly with far more to lose than gain
Thanks, email sent. Really do not expect a reply. The morons running our club disgust me.
Main Stream Media controls and tells us which wars we should care aboutThere is a war going on in the Yemen and we all know about how that regime was allowed to do it.
Both are morally questionable, at best
People refused to play sport for decades in SA because of the Apartheid regime. Neither during that time or after the fact did Mandela et al come out and say "don't tar us with the same brush, come play here" because it was pretty clear to right thinking adults at the time that the only people who stood to gain from it were those in power.I personally wouldn't have sanctioned this game but I know nothing about this club and don't know what links they have to the Saudi regime.
If they're connected to the regime then I would hope we as a fan base do all we can to tell the club what we think about this friendly.
If their only connection is they're from the same country then we shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush as the Saudi regime.
Absolutely ridiculous decision. Who would arrange this? LudicrousMain financial supporter the former defence minister of Saudi who orchestrated bombings in Yemen?

I agree. It’s not the end of the world but why agree to do something that causes a negative reaction?Point still being this could have been easily avoided by going to Spain or Portugal. Why a Saudi team of all the hundreds of club teams available for a game in the coming weeks.
