I use range boosters on mine made by sunny life

Foldable and do make a difference but crap when the drone is directly overhead unless you point the controller directly at the drone which feels wierd

There are some people saying the mini 3 range is shite. I did notice it fairs a lot better in open areas away from houses, probably interference.

Just renewed my CAA thing. I thibk I only flew mine twice last year so thats £5 per flight.

I should but a Robinson instead and do it properly

Sadly not Jeff as i wasn't recording. The silly thing is i was trying to get a few shots to post on here of the Great North run as it passes my back door, on the third attempt as i was waiting for the crowds of runners to pass i heard a helicopter nearby, forgetting the drone was in sports mode (which disables the crash avoidance sensors) i made a fast decline and crashed into a wall as the sensors were off. Recovered the drone and the gimbal's snapped in half, a loose arm and a few scratched parts.

Im cutting my losses, moving it on for parts.
