Tragic as fuck that article.

As you say, the (both) thick and fat bastards clearly have just conveniently forgotten about the Trippier send off rescindment.
Ah Lee Ryder, the true hallmark of journalistic integrity and objectivity. A ' journalist' in name only. You can't just count decisions you feel have gone against you, and declare it as a conspiracy.

To have that attitude shows, you are entitled, deluded and with no emotional intelligence.

The chronicle ,he works for a fanzine.

Check v Oxford 1991
I agree it’s history and before 1992 when footy became “ official “ but where were the masses then ?
The Cathedral on the Hill was the library on the mound
That was the re-arranged game.
It was abandoned earlier when 9000 odd were there.

Could be wrong but didn't they not have a LC game v Wrexham called off that had started around 77/78 with arnly 5k inside. My mag mate reckons so,he was there apparently.

Should this one not be chalked off.... not sure who it is but no attempt to play the ball:

(30 seconds ish)

This got the ball rolling and without that...who knows.

I posted this recently:

Last game of 1978/79 season they had 7,134.

11v11 football match report for Newcastle United v Wrexham, League Division Two 1979 , 08 May 1979

We played Cardiff the week before (same division) and had 36,526. We finished 4th, they finished 8th.

Best fans in the world apparently caveated by being in Europe, breaking transfer records of course.

Must have been a prurtest that day.

But on the plus side

VAR came to the mags rescue against wolves when it ruled out a GOAL for wolves that would have made it 2-0 and won the game

VAR came to the rescue when schar could easily have been sent off for an awful challenge in the same game

VAR came to the mags rescue when trippier red card was downgraded to a yellow
Sssssh that doesn’t fit their agenda

I believe it was. No doubt a mag will currently have smoke coming out of their ears at the indignity of little old us, calling them out for having a low crowd. Afterall they won the attendance cup and Roger has the certificate awaiting lamination. For every other team a low crowd shows poor fans, lack of loyalty but for them there is always a narrative.

Another classic from Skunk Wordsmith Bazoox aka The Rapist Lover. Legal action should be taken. It'll get to the stage where everytime they lose points they will appeal. The seasons will last for years. A poetic work of Art 🎨 👌👏

The one thing Newcastle fans will never comprehend, is that outside of their city, no one gives a fuck about them any more or any less than any other random club. They'll never accept thier place in the world. The monotony and endlessness of just supporting your club and getting on with it. They live in a never ending cycle of self inflicted drama which is meaningless to everyone else. They need attention like a spoilt teenage girl. They haven't got the first clue about humility

Could have sworn other clubs suffered yesterday.

Plus could have sworn couple decisions from VAR have helped them.

I have little interest in PL so not even seen instances but it seems to me that this VAR thing is a load of shite. Which is one of the reasons I'm a bit bored with football now. The game has took a turn for the worse in quite a few aspects.

Exactly. I've said it for years. It has increased the correct decisions from something like 95% to 97% but taken so much out of the game

Referee mistakes have been an intrinsic part of football since the dawn of time

Now we still have referee mistakes, but massive breaks in play, fans not sure whether to celebrate goals, and endless claims of conspiracies
