He was pushed yes but not enough to make him clean the keeper out like he did. Correctly ruled out for me.
Nah was correctly ruled out. If he's pushed then is the correct decision not a penalty then? Given the ball ended up in the net then the ref wouldn't disallow the goal and give a penna anyway.

VAR didn't even show this angle to the ref and this is what the commentator was talking about in the previous videos. It's a clear shove that pushed Willock under the ball and into the keeper and stopped him possibly nodding it in. I'm giggling again seeing this clip below because it was disallowed 🤣

On a slightly different note ... the Toon hierarchy have been complaining that clubs have been hiking the cost of transfer targets and have said they are not going to be held to ransome. When Abramovich took charge of Chelsea and Man City were bought out it did not stop them paying over the odds. So just how much are the Saudi's prepared to throw at it ? Toon expectations of winning the PL and the CL seem a little far fetched at the moment.
And also why would Leicester just give them Maddison? They want him, then prepare to pay more than what they’re were offering. Leicester wouldn’t have sold at that price to any club

The mags need to realise that sometimes they will have players out injured and sometimes decisions will go against them.

All I’ve heard is we would have won if Wilson, Bruno and Maxi were playing, aye but they weren’t playing you f***ing imbeciles.
But was it a psychological win today today???🤣🤣

The bloke who heads it across is offside

That replay of the VAR decision, bairly touched Willock and to me looks like Willock had misjudged the flight of the ball in the first place, missing it and going into their keeper, correct decision. I don't know what the mags are complaining about, they had a big 2-1 win at Liverpool and a massive 0-0 win today aginst Palace with laps of honor and team photo's after the games. Ya divvn't understand, they the richeeest clerwb in wor world

Rightly or wrongly if you pile into the keeper its gonna be disallowed. Everyone knows that.. its the one concistency

1 win so far and 3 points off the relegation zone, I can see Erling Haaland already regretting his decision to go to Man City.

Strange, when people took the piss out of them for celebrating their goals against Tranmere as if they'd won the Champions League, they argued all goals should be celebrated like that, what is it then?

I'd expect that goal to be ruled out at the other end. Willock has impeded the keeper, whatever contact the defender makes on him is irrelevant; he's clearly throwing himself in that direction anyway.

£200m spent and still mid table, it’s almost as if Everton was the lead they took when splashing the cash.

Still it’s everyone else’s fault for not giving them their best players on the cheap.
