Newcastle fans seemingly don’t understand that added on time is a MINUMUM.

If there’s more injuries and time wasting, more time will be added on.
I didn't have am issue with the added time personally. We should have defended the corner better. The Isak offside I did think was a bit of a dodgy decision, even with VAR.

They really do think they are a huge club  Behaving like this because they tried to cheat and it came back to bite them.

I’m old school and don’t like VAR, it’s a bridge too far for me. Spontaneity has now gone out of the game especially when it comes to goal scoring
I'm the same, I don't like VAR. I liked the idea in principle but have hated it since. To be fair the assistant flagged so it wouldn't have counted anyway haha.

To be fair to the saudi fc fans, a lot of our lot go on like this with lpool as well. Bindippers etc. It's pathetic really, us being from the even more impoverished North east. Love Liverpool me. What a place and people!

Bindippers is a nationally used insult. I agree that in the NE we shouldn’t be using poverty based insults to take the p*** out of Liverpool but TBF there’s a world of difference between that and mocking the Hillsborough tragedy. I can’t recall seeing our fans do that and would as disgusted with them as I am with the above Twitter abuse if any did.

I know. I find it embarrassing when we play them also. I remember the famous WHED on here going on about what a dump it was. Made me think Wheatley Hill was like Beverley Hills! But if you are an away fan coming from the north your route to Anfield or Goodison was a pretty depressing one. North Liverpool is a dump. Whereas South Liverpool (Aigburth, Allerton, Mossley Hill) are lovely. CIty Centre is also fantastic.

this- Howe had 6ft 4 botman on bench, should have hoyed him on, only used 3 subs. also jerlinton should have gone to corner flag about 30 seconds earlier. .

Aye its just one of those things. Happened before, will happen again. I mean obviously I was gutted, but that's football. We just switched off at the last crucial moment really.

I went to near every Liverpool v Sunderland game in our Prem era and never once heard Hillsborough abuse. I recall Sunderland fans laying flowers at the memorial also. No doubt some decent Newcastle fans did the same last night. The kids on twitter look 20ish and weren't even around at the time. Liverpool fans aren't angels mind and still sing "Munich '58".

My first away game was Everton and there were fans singing about Liverpool slums and I was completely shocked by it, and couldn't get my head round it at all. Lifting crack.

However, as mentioned above, that's nothing compared to mocking the Hillsbrough disaster. Karma will catch up with him.
