The hoots of whataboutery were predicable. Mad that bringing up your club's dealings with a sports washing vehicle is deemed off limits.

I can understand why of course, because it doesn't give you a leg to stand on when you're in here bashing NUFC daily for the same thing. Must be pretty embarrassing to have it pointed out to you

You're more than happy as fans for your club to deal with PSG for players, no mention of that club being used for sports washing the reputation of Qatar in this thread. In fact bringing PSG and Man City's sports washing up leads to brain dead hoots of whataboutery in their defence

I'd rather not have any dealings with the likes of Newcastle or PSG. But to compare those situations is ludicrous. I don't see any Sunderland fans cheering on PSG or wearing teatowels in celebration. I don't see a 120k petition from the supporters to sign players from PSG.
