what a terrible thing to say....if they love Alex Neil that much then why dont they start to follow Stoke....we dont need supporters like this....I ll get behind Tony or whoever is in chargeCouple of my mates already said they not going on Wednesday. We sit in BCB so they be losing fair bit of money by not attending. I take my 13 year old so got no choice but to go but don’t blame anyone for not going.Proper uninspiring, shite appointment.
you go to a game to support your club......its in your blood , your DNA.......and I can judge people who say these sort of comments.and say they not true supportersMy mates have paid £795 to sit where we sit, they can do whatever they want. I’ll be there but I’m not going to judge people who decide not to go. Mowbray isn’t an appointment that’s going to get people flocking on a Wednesday night against Rotherham.
Can't speak for everyone, but I've not met a Boro fan that didn't or indeed doesn't think the world of him.
But but but, Sunderland fans don't mind/ care about/ give a shit about little old Middlesbrough.Smoggy bastard
Actually Mourinho was sacked at his last 3 clubs. Is that 'top of his game'? The thing is mate I back up my arguments with facts and reason. You are just lashing out with nonsense. 58 is NOT 'old' for a manager and Championship experience is something Sunderland can use right now.The other two are at the top of their game man FFS. TM is a busted flush.
Nothing when your manager isn't a dinosaur.
Half of this place was calling AN “another dour Scot” when we first appointed him.Mowbray perhaps suffers from an unfortunate tone

My old man has been going since 1936 so he winsDo you want a medal?![]()

Tickets in your end next week, hoping they’re all friendly like you fellaCan't speak for everyone, but I've not met a Boro fan that didn't or indeed doesn't think the world of him.
Yeah, it didn't end brilliantly and he was sacked , but he had next to nowt to spend when he was our manager.
Personally, I think people on here have got a cheek, calling him shit, and going on about 'hoofball' etc.
Ok, maybe he's no Klopp or Pep, but who do you think your club is gonna attract?
But but but, Sunderland fans don't mind/ care about/ give a shit about little old Middlesbrough.
We're not rivals remember- so what should it matter if he was from Middlesbrough - he isn't, by the way.
Oh I'm friendly enough mate - never had a fight or serious falling out with anyone in my life.Tickets in your end next week, hoping they’re all friendly like you fella
Tbh I think it’s mostly based on an incorrect (or at least incomplete) perception of him. I assumed when we were first linked he would be a boring , merry-go-round, safety first manager at a time when we need someone to harness our momentum. My view was mostly based on his monotonous tone and him looking like he’s taken a few shovels to the face. His comments about us 15 year ago are most people’s abiding memory of him.Oh I'm friendly enough mate - never had a fight or serious falling out with anyone in my life.
Life's too short.
Just think the attitude towards Mowbray is shocking.
He has a decent managerial record and has his teams playing decent football (imo).
Thinking that Sunderland should be 'aiming higher' purely because you're Sunderland really is quite arrogant (and deluded) - not aiming that a you personally btw.
Sunderland have done nothing for near-on fifty years, and not a lot for yonks before that, that in itself proves that you can't seriously think your club is in a position to be attracting managers of a higher calibre than TM.
Would you like him in charge of Middlesbrough?Oh I'm friendly enough mate - never had a fight or serious falling out with anyone in my life.

If Wilder was to leave tomorrow (don't want him to), then yes I would like TM as Boro's manager again - hopefully with more resources than he had last time.Would you like him in charge of Middlesbrough?
Lazy stereotypes are what I’m seeing, people saying he is a dinosaur without looking at how his Blackburn team played or how he does develop young players. If Wilder was to leave tomorrow (don't want him to), then yes I would like TM as Boro's manager again - hopefully with more resources than he had last time.
More to the point - what's the reasoning for the mass dislike of him managing sunderland?
And, what's with all the personal insults directed at him?
So we're Clough and Cattermole. I've no issue with employing any TeesiderSmoggy bastard

There would be a lot of positives in appointing him, one of which would be I think we would definitely stay up without much trouble.
The negative would be due to the views of some he would be on a hiding to nothing if he didn’t get a good start and that in turn would impact on the positive feeling our return to the championship has had on the fanbase
I wouldn’t be against his appointment completely but Personally I’d rather him for our academy role.
