It's not an impossibility at all. It's 50/50. There was nothing to suggest Ross Stewart would be prolific when we signed him. There's a reasonable chance they've unearthed a diamond.

Equally they have just spent 60 million quid on a lad who scored 1 in 10 last season. Any reasonable mag over the age of 40 must questioning that. It's basically the plot of Brewster's Millions.

I was comparing players not clubs. You are paying the same money as Juventus did for a player who on paper is nowhere near as good. If anything the bigger the club the higher the fee is inflated. See Man Utd.
