Exactly, let's say a Chelsea player has the option of a transfer to Newcastle or Southampton. It's fair to say he will be recommended to join the club who's owners are also heavily invested/linked with a Chelsea director.
I think youse are looking a little too deep into this lads. Get back on to the sportswashing debate. That’s what youse do best.

I’m just repeating what the fella said a while ago. It’s not “my” opinion, so maybe the fella that originally said it is embarrassing himself. We’ll just have to wait and see if it ever evolves in the way he seems to think it will. You obviously don’t and that’s fair enough.
Labels sell - but there is no big 7 as it stands. If we are going into the last weeks of these season and the traditional top 6 are battling with the mags for the top 7 then there may be. But as it stands you have a big lump of a centre half at left back. Chris Wood as cover and were out played by Brighton and so any claims lack foundation unless you believe Messi is selling the pies?

You have posted 1,874 messages on this forum and literally over 90% of them are within this one Newcastle United thread. 🤔
Yes, most of them lately are in this thread, which I find amusing and is also why I object to people like yourself and mills and boon spoiling it with inane drivel.

If you’d bother look carefully you would also have noticed that my posts are spread over 16 years, whereas mills and boon has achieved 20% of this total over the last month.🙄

More than likely it will be Leicester City if they don’t drop away. They’re probably top 6 and Spurs 7th given they’ve won all 4 big domestic titles and League 1 and Championship this millennia.

Is it just me?….and yes, I know that most transfer rumours are made up….but doesn’t it look like Saudi Utd are simply saying
“ooh…we like him….…
..NO….we like HIM Instead….
…..NO!!…hang on!….we REALLY like HIM the most!!!”

Starting to look a bit panic stricken…

They want top players without paying rhe going rate.

They want to pay in instalments when they declared they want to win the league in 5 seasons.

They've messed up really. If they just announced the takeover quietly and made no bold claims i think clubs would have accepted some of their offers

I've said above - no-one is going to let them get players on the cheap. Everyone is going to feel entitled to rip them off every single time.

My take is that they put all their eggs in one basket. The ones they really wanted and thought they could get over the line turned them down and now they are way down the line on their back up plans. Maybe they were blasé, naive thinking they would have no problems tempting players

It just seems to me that they are pandering to the fans by showing interest in….well….everyone.

Looks like the "Chelsea investment" isn't direct, it's more of a case of PIF giving a pot of money to an investment firm to invest on their behalf like anyone could and on this occasion they have decided this firm has decided to invest in Chelsea. Just like they could invest in any other club and it be claimed there was a link.

Obviously if their return as a % is greater than their Newcastle investment they may start to take a look at their priorities but it's a huge "if" due to the relative sums of money involved.

Still a conflict of interest though isn't it?

You tell yourself that as Chelsea B team players get passed along in the background. I doubt you’ll be the only one 🙈🙉
