There are a growing number of Mags against this, as there are at every club in the country. The 99% who have fallen Hook line & sinker for the Sportswashing are willing to take the criticism because they have been promised trinkets, same as the LIV golfers.

All it will take is for these bastards to make the wrong move against the US or the UK & it'll come crashing down. No one is ever going to change the mind of a person who is under the influence of a Cult, & that's what it is, however by opposing & highlighting it you can at least make them question themselves, perhaps feel a bit of guilt & maybe think about it. There will also be ones who are uncomfortable & silently follow the more vocal defenders & deflectors.

This takeover is 100% not what they were expecting. Had Ashley stayed & done exactly what the Murderers have there would have been hell on. So we carry on. On here there is a lot of support & this brilliant forum let's us say things up to a point that would get us banned on Twitter, but Twitter has a much bigger audience & people retweeting. Even the bots are highlighting what I highlight by commenting their bile.

HAD ASHLEY STAYED & DONE WHAT THE MURDERERS HAVE THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN HELL ON.

Appointing Howe, who none of them wanted, signing the players they have & not spending the Billion quid they were all expecting.

It may take time but all of this will go South & the truth will come out.

My belief is that the Saudis wield that much power and wealth that other countries are shit scared of losing their revenue. Finally, I can honestly say, that if it were my club I genuinely would walk away and I have no doubts that our friends up the road are well and truly sportswashed, not that they would admit it.

They haven’t needed to be sportswashed. They were ready made for the Saudis, begged and petitioned for it.
 
Strange times indeed!
A couple of years ago, we used to meet up in the club before the bus came to pick us up, we’d all be on the hoy.
Nowadays, we sit reservedly sipping our alcohol free drinks. Snake belts and tea towels are passed around, and we strategically place them on our heads. Just before leaving, the bar staff come round with a big jug of gravy and anoint our headdress and shirts. And on the way up on the bus, we’d all practice our Geordie accents.

That was a joke by the way, I’m sure some on here would believe it.

Nobody on here believes that, it's about as unlikely as 110k signing a petition to get the Saudis in.

Plus shirts don't need gravy adding, you do that perfectly well yourselves.

It's posts like this that burst the bubble of Exile's honourable crusade against sportswashing. It's obviously only about Newcastle or else he'd oppose PSG and Man City too? He'd certainly not champion the likes of PSG as being part of a move that sticks two fingers up to sportswashing.

What's your beef with Man City? Not owned by a nation state, have delivered on their promises for local/regional regeneration, not full blooded terrorists. Is it because they sneaked in before ffp and are now one of continental europe's club giants? Or is it just 'whataboutism'?

PSG - awful, manufactured club though they have very little relevance to our game. Yours is a proud, traditional big club in the English game being used and abused.
As has been pointed-out, Man City's ownership is very different to yours.
