The Safety of Fans in the North Stand


If nowt happens you going to get other clowns from away supporting teams thinking we can get away with this and more stuff gets hoyed down. If home supporters stopped buying tickets for the seats affected they would sharp do something.
 
Got Coventry fans making stupid comments on the away days FB pages now.. apparently it never happened as there's no videos of it happening. Apparently there wouldn't have been any complaints put in if sunderland had won

Steve Neil and his colleagues got a video of the bottle been throwing, but still going through CCTV as we speak ,that's from the Horses mouth

First thing I ever think of when we concede is to get my phone out, turn around and record the sky.

They keep saying there's no photographs of the bottle despite photographs of the bottle being posted as well.

They know it's wrong but want to brush it under the carpet because the people who did it support the same football team. It's why all thr people around whoever through them were happy enough to allow it to happen without self policing it or pointing them out.

Did it show the smoke bomb on sky? Pretty hard to miss that so especially bizarre they would pretend that didn't happen.

There's a photo on the BBC sport website of the steward picking up the blue smoke bomb

Sadly that’s a byproduct of Coventrys ridiculous statement.

It’s now up to the club and NP to release the photos of the culprits and make an example of them. The f***ing arsehole that chucked a bottle should go to prison

You're relying on CCTV picking out someone amongst a rowdy crowd, having to identify a hand it came from. Much more difficult than people think.

Then, if they do, it's an away fan, so you're essentially relying on someone else from that club identifying them and then grassing them up.

I just can't see it happening.

This is going to be the problem and ultimately what the culprit will be depending on.

The photos however should be released with the area they were sitting in. It then puts pressure on the club and WMP to act. It also stops the myth that they did nothing wrong
 
Solution ...What we should do is take on 50 extra stewards. And place them purely on upper level facing into the away fans all with recording cams . Have them record every second of the match looking at the away support . And who will fund that you might ask ? . The away supporters will need to pay extra and THEY will soon put a stop to these ars****s throwing from above and turf out their own offenders. Out of 1500 Coventry fans 100s will know who threw a glass bottle.

I don't think a club may charge away fans extra for equivalent tickets.
