The murderers are playing these thick fuckers brilliantly.😂

Its not hard. You or I could do it

Pretend to have/have access to BIG money. Money to burn. (that's the hard bit)

Make promises you know you can't fulfill and football fans (not just Newcastle) will lap it up and nothing else will matter.

Solidify your god-like status by cleaning some windows, painting a few stairwells and sending out tweets that tag in/refer to club legends. Have grand plans for Stadium, training ground etc. (Reynolds at Darlo once unveiled a plan for development that included a dry ski slope).

Newcastle are falling for it. But so would fans of a lot of clubs. I hate to say it, but we could be just as easily played by false promises and the money.

What's different with Newcastle is the moral element. We know what the Saudis and MBS are. We know that association is dubious. So do they.

I don't know, and never will know how our fanbase would react if PiF had bought us. But I know one thing... I'd not be wearing Arab dress and calling Staveley "Queen Amanda".

Does this ring any bells? You have to be of a certain age to remember it?

How long until Queen Mandy is Amanda "fecking" Staveley? How long until Jamie Rueben is a Tory c**t?

The worm is turning.🪱
The murderers were offering Tiger Woods $800m but won't cough up £50m for Maddison.🤔

It's a bad argument from them, as we could just say they copied off us by just having a football team, as we were formed first. Always in our shadow and that. The haway the lads thing is a load of shite n'all We have used that well before them. They are the most unoriginal and drab fans in the world.
Champions of England the same year their club was formed.

Yep. George Reynolds another one. Fayed promised a premiership title in the following few years of his purchase of Darlo.

Though at least Reynolds actually tried. He built the stadium and did throw money at players to try and achieve his aims. And I believe he did at least once have some affection for the club.
But essentially it killed the club in the process.

It is entirely possible the Saudis/Staveley will do the same. If this doesn't work, the Saudis have no affection with Newcastle. Staveley will walk if there's no financial gain, as will the others. Or they'll sell to the next chancer.
The next few years will make or break them all.

My mate had this one made by his aunt. He'd saw big flags on the terraces in Italy and fancied one himself. It had nothing written on, it was just a huge red and white flag.

Just a few weeks later there was half a dozen or more at the FA Cup semi final at Wembley!

We took it to St James for the derby that season and unfurled it towards the end of the game despite being told not to by the coppers.

The mags had a big flag for the start of the next season...
Aye I remember your mates one, hadn't seen owt like it at the match before. Your last sentence is wrong of course, Mags invented everything....

These just keep bidding low for players then moving on. Maybe its to make it seem as though they tried but isn't that what Ashley did?

They have done it all summer

Bids for players they know wont be accepted

 Who said you were jealous?

You’re the one that claimed Rodriguez is better than anything Newcastle have ever had. 30 years, 50 years, even 70 years. It doesn’t matter as you set the parameters, dafty.

Are you okay? You seem proper wound up. You’re usually a little more rational than this.

The jealous was reference to a tweet posted previously. But if you are not thinking we are jealous and salty you are in the minority.

Perhaps the Jamos thing was over egging it, as club allegiances aside, I loved Beardsley and watched him many times at Anfield. Hell of a player. Likewise Gascoigne at Everton whom I met a few times.

My point, either too subtle or not clear, was if you compare Everton in recent years they also promised many false dawns:

- Andre Gomez - started like a train....
- Keane - arrived with a fan fare....(Botman hasn't played a competitive game yet)
- Richarlison - incredible on his day and less injury prone than Taggett.
- Everton had Sigurðsson who was like a Rolls Royce (at times). Every Evertonian remembers his 50 yarders on his debut and thought this is it!

Overall, I think at the start of Carlo's season Everton were in a far better shape than current NUFC squad and they finished 12th and 10th.

Enjoy the ride.

Staveley to Ashley
“How do we appease these knackers and their unrealistic expectations and self- entitlement during the transfer window?”

Ashley: “Just put in ridiculously low bids for top players, I did it for 14 seasons.”

Cheers , Mike.
“Meanwhile amanda can you please try and scrape together that £10 million i lent u to buy your shares in tha club”

I love this account mind. There's actually a mag gone out of his way to sit and look through this forum. His life is safc.
