When the Saudi’s have totally took over the mags they will be nothing but ventriloquist’s dummies sitting on the knee’s of their leaders opening their mouths at the will of their operators.

That's just not true about support being poor that season. Maybe poorer than our own standards but compared to everybody else, not really. We went from 3rd highest supported team in the country in 08/09 to 4th highest supported team in the country in 09/10. The average gate was 43k. Behind Man United, Arsenal and Man City. The midweek games were usually around 38k, weekend games around 43-45k.

But you get 52k every week no matter what.
I must have heard this hundreds of times from multiple sources.
 
These just keep bidding low for players then moving on. Maybe its to make it seem as though they tried but isn't that what Ashley did?

Their fans are booting off back at Downie. Asking what are the owners playing at. Saying Chelsea are signing a full back for £50m and a CH for £80m. Don't think the penny has dropped yet has it.

I love it when their fans (who couldn't afford Maddisons fingernail) demand a deal worth more money than they will ever see in their life is closed "for the good of the club".

What they really mean is "I support the club, but you should spend your money on a player because I know it makes business sense".

These billionaires didn't get rich by listening to a pasty muncher in a barcode shirt

My mate had this one made by his aunt. He'd saw big flags on the terraces in Italy and fancied one himself. It had nothing written on, it was just a huge red and white flag.

Just a few weeks later there was half a dozen or more at the FA Cup semi final at Hillsborough!

We took it to St. James for the derby that season and unfurled it towards the end of the game despite being told not to by the coppers.

The mags had a big flag for the start of the next season...

That looks like Leicester are adamant its a no. Hence Mags are backtracking that they didnt really bid £50M.

Unless in two years they're still a middle order premier league club signing players like Wood. Then "wor flags" will fuck off in prurtest... and every mag you meet will have been dead against the idea of Saudi ownership from day one.
