South Shields is also a curious one with a fair number of Yemeni decent. How could you possibly be a B&W when they have bombed your country to bits?
There’s definitely a Sunni mosque in Shields. It’s the Iranian backed Shia forces who have been the target. I wouldn’t suggest I could speak for them but maybe they no longer view it as their country or perhaps they hold a view that the Houthi forces are the enemy. It would take a very simplistic view of the conflict to blanket them all with one view.

Reminds me of that NFL game, named after former footballer coach and commentator, Jyon Maddonsen.

I defer to the knowledge of a graduate from the Big Market School of Middle Eastern studies.

Not fully sold on him. Strikes me as the type of player that despite doing well individually, doesn’t have any significant impact on the wider performance of the team. The type of player that Spurs would sign 10 years ago and everybody would be excited about, yet still finish the season with the same amount of points as the previous year.

A year ago I might have agreed with you bilut last season he was superb and almost single handedly dragged us through at times.

Teamwork and attitude improved no end.

Just don't let him take corners as he can't beat the first man.
