It was school yard scappy stuff in the extra time, there were no tactics , that's the point  Anyone that's played to any level will have noticed this.
Did they keep the ball in the corner for five minutes after they scored by luck or by design?

Viewing figures of 17.4m for the match. And that doesn't include people watching online or in public spaces so the final figure should be over 20 million.

Similar figures for German TV too.

The German newspaper Bild's headline is 'New Wembley Fraud' because there was a VAR check on a potential handball by Williamson and it was not given as a penalty. They say they have been cheated yet again at Wmebley. Talk about bad losers. For me it was a very close game of few chances and little quality that could have gone either way. I think it was fitting that the one piece of real quality, England's first goal, was rewarded.

That smashes the previous record set at the World Cup semi-final in 2019!

Just heard that on Talksport, the bloke who was reading it could barely stop laughing.

Just makes it even sweeter that the dirtiest team at the tournament went home feeling cheated.

Actually that's a really good point - the German's tactics of kicking and then rolling about was so cynical it was approaching cheating.
