The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Don't turn a blind eye for the smoke bomb either.. They threw that from such a distance it would have cause some damage if it hit someone on the head.

We used them at Wembley in the right manner and the reason they are used for. Coventry fans had every intention of harming a Sunderland fan in throwing theirs.

No exactly you're right, I shouldn't have but the glass bottle I thought was a different level.

Be crying their little eyes out when at 5am one morning the police smash their door in.

Also a very risky business jumping on other lads. Me and a mate were confronted by about a dozen Sheffield United hoolies on the way to our coach at Brammal Lane a good few year ago, before I could even work out what was happening about 10 of the Jarra branch and about 30 absolute units from somewhere like Horden Colliery appeared out of nowhere and absolutely f***ing destroyed the would be hoolies, they were all on the deck out cold. So these daft cokes up wannabes shouldn't be surprised if they get splatted.
Hope you're right about the crying

As for jumping groups. Absolutely agree, stupid risks to take and they'll deserve it if they get a good hiding.

Club already irritating fans with crap service. Time to get this right but I'll not hold my breath

Really can’t believe after all the bother we’re still putting away fans above home fans, its a nonsense… we can’t let them play this down again, every single steward in the north stand should be sacked and the police should be identifying the criminals who were throwing objects.., again….

The police are on it, but as fans we need to make sure it’s not dropped because it’s a bit tough

I mean that's another issue nowadays at the SOL there's hardly any cops in the stadium. When this kicked off it looked just liked stewards up there and in the end stuff happened that shouldn't have.

I was told today that there were enough cops on duty however from what I saw, they did nowt.

Didn't see any in the ground on the lower tier, and to be honest I think it's been that way for a while. I'd read somewhere that the police are outside now on a matchday, and only come inside when an issue kicks off.
Either way today what happened could have seen someone seriously inured.

I sit in the north stand and stuff was raining down second half, a lot of distressed people kicking off, a lot with kids.
Couldn’t make out what they were throwing down but I’d ban there fans from
the stadium for the foreseeable.
Said it for years away fans should be in the north east or south east corner, they need moving there next season.
