The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Said this today, not as if reaped benefits since moving them, back to back relegations and effected atmosphere I would argue

Apparently there is a plan b to get them back in the lower tier and it’s not in the South Stand. The problem is the cost.

Make no mistake, unless the fans take this forward, the club will be happy to sweep this mess under the carpet

I'll not let this one go because where the glass bottle smashed is exactly the place my mates littleun sits, and thank god they are on hols as she'd have been seriously injured this afternoon.

Aye exactly I don't blame you. I think any object thrown from such a height would cause damaged if hitting someone on the head.

After today I'll keep on at the club until it's changed. Don't care if anyone says melodramatic, but my mates littleun could have been seriously injured if she'd been sat in her seat today. Stella bottle thrown from that distance into a crowd is absolute shit house behaviour.

I'd even turned a blind eye to the smoke canisters as a bit of fun as our lot had them at Wembley and other games.... But a glass bottle is a different level.

Throwing into a crowd from that distance is jail time when they hopefully get picked out from CCTV.

Have a punch up if you want I'm not arsed, but hoying glass bottles into crowded areas with families and kids is shit house behaviour.

Don't turn a blind eye for the smoke bomb either.. They threw that from such a distance it would have cause some damage if it hit someone on the head.

We used them at Wembley in the right manner and the reason they are used for. Coventry fans had every intention of harming a Sunderland fan in throwing theirs.

do me a favour mate, you got in after the time requested by Spirit of 37 (if you were even there) and want to brag about it, if you are not a mag you sound a bit of a knob
Held my card up like everyone else, they even got timing wrong for Dance of the Nights and had to start it of a second time. You can’t have much to say if you have to resort to personal insults. I’m not your mate, not a term of familiarity I use for anyone including my friends.

Just saying if they really want to behave like animals we will have our fair share that'll oblige them. The fact the OP is dealing with a traumatised child as a result of some big "tough guys" is a disgrace and I hope the club compensate him accordingly. Show the kid the club cares. Problem is they probably don't based on how many times this is happening.

Aa for hooliganism being dead, not sure I fully agree its just mutated to a more cowardly form where people go for anyone who's opposition while being coked off their face rather than the mass brawls of yesteryear. I know a load of wrexham got jumped at notts county last year for example. Just normal lads trying to get to their coach. Mate of mine caught up in it unfortunately.

Be crying their little eyes out when at 5am one morning the police smash their door in.

Also a very risky business jumping on other lads. Me and a mate were confronted by about a dozen Sheffield United hoolies on the way to our coach at Brammal Lane a good few year ago, before I could even work out what was happening about 10 of the Jarra branch and about 30 absolute units from somewhere like Horden Colliery appeared out of nowhere and absolutely f***ing destroyed the would be hoolies, they were all on the deck out cold. So these daft cokes up wannabes shouldn't be surprised if they get splatted.

I must sit within seats of you and what happened today was a disgrace. The smoke bomb was awful but a f***ing glass bottle??!

You probably saw mate, but an entire family walked out as the kids were terrified. I’m livid

It’s not mate
It’s 20 times worse
