The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

2 times against Coventry. Once against pompey. The flare landed two seats away from my 8 year old and a glass bottled landed a couple of rows behind and that was just today.. I was one seat away from being hit in the 5-4 fixtures.

The safety of the Sunderland fans isn't there. Coventry should have been banned from attending.. A bloke picked up the broken glass and the female steward asked where it came from. Where else would it f***ing come from? Then she just put it in the bin and carried on with her duties. I would be collecting any evidence and using it to ban the fuckers.

Today's match is now irrelevant, and my 8 year old is seriously distressed and doesn't want to go back.. First season for him as a season card holder n all. So bollocks to the club I'll be emailing them and getting a refund for our season cards.
Same with me mate. My 7 year olds first game as well

Another game, more missiles thrown down on to the Sunderland fans in the North Stand.

Coventry fans once again showing themselves up after acting all innocent in the build up to the game.

We need action to prevent this from happening again.

Coventry should get zero allocation when they next visit. It’s every time with them.
Lock everyone in for an hour, then interview everyone on exit, to weed out the culprits...ban them for 3 years... Failing that stick a large mesh fence up (blues brothers style) to prevent stray missiles from descending the tiers!

Coventry fans / manager kicking off that they were given a reduced allocation. Think they've just answered their own question.

Half there allocation again for this if we play them next season.
Could be one away fan and our mag police would still fail to stop it.

And keep them all limited to the back few rows

Disgraceful.

Give them zero allocation.

If we're obliged to give them an allocation, charge them £1000 a ticket. If we can't dictate pricing, allocate them the minimum the back couple of rows only so they're in clear view of the extra police they'll be charged for.

They alway check my 73 year old mothers bag if she has one. Yet chav scum are getting in with this shit?
This totally winds me up. I have a bag about 10cm x 5cm and have to open it for them to look in every week. Blokes walk in with bigger pockets on their coats. Whoever is in charge of safety/security is doing a woeful job. Searches should be random or through intel.....not just every woman with a small bag...that's not where a flare/smoke bomb will be.
