The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

I emailed him the last time we had stuff thrown down by the Coventry fans, he called me and had a chat on thr phoenix and basically said they can't move the fans as figures showed the issues had reduced by 60% since they were moved and when I asked about getting a net put up to catch things he said they won't put a net up as it still won't catch all the objects and things like coins could still get through. When I said it would stop the bottles and bigger stuff its a start he just said its not something they would be doing.

Today shows its really something they SHOULD be doing.

We ended up moving away from the NS but it should never have been us that had to move.
 
Was listening to the Rocker Report podcast with one of their supporters this week. This lad genuinely said that Coventry don't have any rivals as nobody around them gives a fuck about them, so they've adopted Sunderland as their big rivals in the last couple of years.

Eventually someone will get seriously hurt and the club will have no excuses as they have been told plenty of times about it.
 
What should have happened is that the game gets paused and all away fans are told to leave the stadium......!!!!! Once they are all our the game is then resumed.....

Banned for the next 5 away games and bennned for 3 years from our stadium...

Quite simple really.

However don't run on the pitch or will get exterminated. You can't make this shit up man

Something serious will happen before they do anything about it. Like you say, they have been told many times and yet still nothing substantial done. Only thing they have is to move the fans away from the front blocks, obviously that still isn't working.
 
I am f***ing fuming. Yet again, the club have let us down. Unless something changes someone will get seriously hurt.

I don’t know if @Guinness Guzzler can help, but we need dialogue with the club.

With regards to Coventry, their fanbase is f***ing scum. Apparently those that attended today were their SC holders with a shitload of loyalty points and yet they chucked smoke bombs and a f***ing glass bottle.
 
As I've been saying for a while, anyone thinking smoke bombs were going to stop being set off need to have a rethink.

It’s getting to a point where people are deliberately avoiding the North stand as their safety can’t be guaranteed. Either move the away fans or install netting above the north stand lower. The club could face an interesting legal case if someone gets seriously injured given that this is now common place when these utter cretins come here.

After the 4-5 we were promised the game would be stopped if items were chucked. They stopped it after Pompey chucked a smoke bomb, but fuck all since

Two bits of glass bottles landed near us , luck and crap aim no one was injured, throwing big bits of glass with no regard to where it landed absolute fecking scums trick, ban them all, not sure a net would have worked
