When Project Saud is languishing in 15th position they'll be in complete denial about their love for MBS and Queen Stav.
It will happen as it certainly looks at the moment that golf is getting all of the love and attention and not to mention the money. If MBS was genuinely looking to boost this lot he would have spent the money he's spent on some has been golfer on a true marquee player.

Absolutely. When the penny drops you won't find a single mag who signed the petition or wore a tea towel. Every one of them will have been suspicious of Amanda from the start. They were all protesting against corruption at Parliament and nothing to do with Saudis.

Does anyone recall the tweets to Khasshogi's fiance by the mags? These need saved for when it goes tits up.

Also, what about that fella (sure he was a bus driver) who went to London with his mam for the protest......wonder what he feels about the new owners.

That's a brilliant, factual statement. It must kill the mags getting reality checks like this.

Something of a myth has been allowed to take hold, over the last few years, about Newcastle’s fans. They have developed a reputation for being equal parts demanding and delusional, for believing their club uniquely deserving of a restoration to a place of prominence in English soccer’s firmament that it never, really, occupied in the first place.

The reality is almost exactly the opposite. All Newcastle’s fans have ever really asked for is a team that is , and a bit of effort from those charged with running the club. The banner made that perfectly clear. Ashley’s affront was not failing to win; it was robbing them of the hope that they might.

The article says something different once you stop clipping a bit out to tell a different story, mind.

Bit sneaky, Exile lad.

200k a week is 10m for a year.
chris wood 25m transfer and 100k a week for 2.5 years is 38m. 15m a year.
who's better value for money? thats how much these players cost.
So it is a good deal simply because it is better than another bad one?
Haway mate. Don't blind the simpletons with basic maths.
Simpleton?
Not very nice is it Keith?
Which simpleton was it who kept insisting we were finished, doomed, and other variations of relegated last season....... that would be you was it not?

Support two clubs? Wrongun if nothing else
I shouldn't really support Sunderland but I've had a season ticket for 10 years of my 29 years on the planet.

Would have ended up as mag if me dad died when I was little and not supported Sunderland or Celtic.

So I'm thankful for that and will continue to support me dad's teams. He's been a Sunderland fan for over 50 years but he's Celtic first and foremost

Clark, hendrick, Hayden and woodman.

All worse than those mentioned above.

Would expect Gayle, Fernandez, Matty longstaff and Ritchie to go. Manquillo more likely to leave than krafth after his resurgence last year. Darlow will leave with Gillespie 3rd choice and pope/dubravka fighting for 1st. Lascelles will stay for another year at least.

2 more still to come in, a winger and a forward. Harrison would be good but anything above 25m isn’t worth it. Up front I think someone young with potential will be the priority. Wilson will start most games but a better back up than wood who can potentially usurp Wilson in the next few years is the way Howe will go. Will probably be from abroad as English strikers like Abraham and DCL will be an expensive backup and might not want to come at this stage anyway without European football on offer

Wilson won't play most games next season as he's a crock. In 12 years as a pro he's played about 250 games. That's not most games every season.

So you desperately need to sign another forward otherwise you're gonna be relying on Chris Wood for your goals next season. Which is a position I doubt any of the knuckle heads dancing around in tea towels last year would have been happy about.

Exactly, they offered Tiger Woods $600 million to a billion dollars to join LIV golf but won’t pay £30 million for a player that tells you all you need to know about their priorities and someone on here questioned me yesterday when I said Newcastle aren’t their priority :D

This is beautiful. It’s going to be glorious if they get to the end of the window totally underwhelmed believing they are going to be the next Man Ciry. That’s all they ever wanted. They are already showing unrest at the lack of spending and players going elsewhere. I remember being constantly told I was going to lose my shit this summer with the players they were going to bring in. 😂
