I can see this unravelling next season pretty quickly. Howe won't have a run like he did this season again imo and they haven't really strengthened much so far.

Meanwhile the club are getting journos to leak articles about Wilson being the man and the fans are on tenterhooks as they expected a huge summer and are blaming ffp that 'wasn't gonna be a problem' a few months back.

The strangest thing for me is that they've hardly offloaded anyone. Signings are one way of showing intent, but so is keeping the likes of Lascelles, Dummett, Shelvey etc. Gayles obviously gone, but who else have they moved on?

Is no one coming in for Dubravka, Darlow, ASM? That speaks volumes as well

Theyve gave new deals to schar, longstaff and Dummet

As the mags are starting to realise having the richest owners in the world doesn’t make you the richest club in the world especially when they have other priorities.
What other priorities do they have? (I’ve not been keeping up, unless you’re referencing weekday decapitations?)

Renewing Dummett’s contract was a huge statement of intent in my eyes, albeit it doesn’t show the sort of intent the mags are hoping for.

He’s 30 years old, had a few knocks, was never a top player, and will never command any sort of fee. There is absolutely no reason to give him a new deal if you’re serious about moving up a level - surely you’d just release him and give his spot to a new prospect to develop instead, if not an established player?

Clark, hendrick, Hayden and woodman.

All worse than those mentioned above.

Would expect Gayle, Fernandez, Matty longstaff and Ritchie to go. Manquillo more likely to leave than krafth after his resurgence last year. Darlow will leave with Gillespie 3rd choice and pope/dubravka fighting for 1st. Lascelles will stay for another year at least.

2 more still to come in, a winger and a forward. Harrison would be good but anything above 25m isn’t worth it. Up front I think someone young with potential will be the priority. Wilson will start most games but a better back up than wood who can potentially usurp Wilson in the next few years is the way Howe will go. Will probably be from abroad as English strikers like Abraham and DCL will be an expensive backup and might not want to come at this stage anyway without European football on offer

Have ignored the Mags for ages baw a headline that they were trying to sign Sesko from Salzburg. Had never heard of him so looked uo his stats. He has scored five league goals. Why do they always have to bullshit and hype everything? It is some sort of mental disorder.
It can only be because the entire footballing world waits jaw-dropped from each gem of information from them.

Imagine how awful football's mornings would be if they were not notified of the next glorious event on the path to glory.

Absolute bollocks man. Haalands a generational talent…. And they aren’t gunna get him

I reckon Newcastle will struggle to attract the big names they hope personally. If they do they will just be paying over the odds for wasters like neymar. I rate neymar too but he’s a waste of space
