I’ll be honest the most depressing thing I noticed in my rant is I called my fellow supporters…they. I didn’t agree with the Ashley protests, purely as I thought they were pointless and I felt distanced a little but I bizarrely feel more detached now than I ever have. I’m as flat as Roger Tames commentary

We’ve got our club back?…they’ve got their club back

It's strange. Why are these journos sitting with him? All a bit odd.

Would be interested to see who's funding him to produce all this propaganda.

Why is he wearing blusher? He Looks like a clown. Quite apt really.

Looks like Wraithy and his mrs decided to give this one a swerve, it must’ve been her school prom

Why does Michael Martin hate this message board?

Is it because RTG is better than any of their attempts to make one, is it that we bring up his impressive resemblance to Jim Branning off Eastenders or because we occasionally mention that business with his wife?
Probably cos the MLF who bummed his missus is probably on here

It must be shit being Michael Martin.

Ugly, wife has left you for a mackem, don’t see your kid (probably not his) the “fanzine” that you run (if you can call it that) focuses on it’s rivals majority of the time and is dog shit, you life is centred around the mackems and your only mate is quasimodo reincarnated (@Boo Boy).

Constantly having a go at MLFs was his way of coping with being a Durham mag. Unfortunately for him his wife knew exactly how to get him back 😄
I can offer suggestions if you want me to go on my own personal experience.
However bad things get on here I can’t imagine you getting as bitter as MM.

He’s set himself up to be miserable 24/7

Lives in an SAFC area
Not seen as a proper fan by his fellow mags
Has to slag off SAFC fans to be accepted

No wonder his wife decided to switch sides

When a clown like Michael Martin tries to use a kid sniffing bloke who half the time doesn't know why he entered a room fist bumping a disgusting prince then you just see how pathetic some mags are! Sam Fender banter is eveing more pathetic from MM, the lad is just a waste of space trying to use his fame every chance he gets to say look at me I support the richest club in the world who have signed Ronaldo/Messi/Haaland/Salah? No wait signed some Burnley and Brighton rejects, well done Sammy:eek:
:lol::lol:

Fender is thick as mince. Writes a song condemning Gaza then sticks his tongue up the arse of MBS for popularity. Him, Ant & Dec & the embarrassing scenes at their first game followed up with a Geordie Wankfest on Takeaway. Dear f***ing me. Still never mind Lads it happens ower there, they don't own them Amanda owns them & they've signed Villa's 3rd choice full back. At least nasty MA has gone though, even though he has shares in their kit supplier. It'll all come out in the wash.

3 weeks before the start of the new season and my internal conflict hasn’t really resolved itself.

The reality of being owned by a state which is in all but essence supporting Putin in his war in Ukraine isn’t really hitting home for many because ‘the official club twitter is class now’.

We revel in Reubens donating to a foodbank made even more necessary by the party they choose to fund and becoming just as necessary by inflation being driven by Putins war in Ukraine supported by…you know who over in Ridyah. But hey…they’ve painted the Gallowgate.

They’ve added Biden to the list of whataboutery…it’s ok signing Botman because the President is fist bumping with MBS and that green shirt is a good laugh isn’t because it’s upset Olly Holt (tbf upsetting a Mail journalist isn’t the worst thing)

Mandy and Mehrdad are sainted…yes they seem awfully nice but as figureheads on a one year contract…why wouldn’t they be? No loss to them.

Ticket prices are rising, while Mike Ashley is guilty of possibly at worst being a disinterested badly advised owner, he kept prices low…prices will rise and the club don’t care if Dave from Byker can’t afford it, because the plan for success will bring in deep pocketed tourist fans that fill up the likes of anfield and old Trafford.

As I’ve said before, The fanbase is now dominated by a generation who grew up under Keegan and Robsons reigns where 5th was judged a failure. The biggest pain they’ve had is 2 relegations followed by immediate returns. They don’t remember McGarry, Sack the Board, Lord Westwood, Richard bloody Dinnis and years of misery and now they sit on podcasts and pontificate it was always top 10 finishes and European football and it bloody wasn’t.

I maintain Howe will leave this season, he’s the Mark Hughes of the revolution so to speak but I think he’ll go because he’s clear from day one he’s a hands on manager and that’s why Ashworth is now there and does Eddie Howe excite in foreign lands? Nah, would MBS pose with Howe? Doubt it. Jose will be in at some point and the Sir Bobby links will cause the Wear to fill with vomit.

Have I renewed? Yes as I’m on a deal. Therefore am I massive hypocrite? Possibly yes. I genuinely haven’t decided whether to go or pass the ticket to my nephew.

I just don’t like ‘my day’ of beers with the lads, craic in the pub and the normal working class lads and lasses around me being essentially an approval of our real owners…and that’s not an easy call.

Ps . The mag is utter shite click bait that makes the chronicle look Pulitzer Prize winning
Seems like I just read an actual real response to the situation. Good for you.
No way would I want a turd like that in our fanbase. I find him sickly to look at and would in no uncertain terms tell him to fuck off away
‘I find him sickly to look at’ - lol.

I do too, it’s not that he’s ugly as such, it’s his desperate yet smug psyche coming through that turns my stomach.

Love this honest assessment.

And the bit I've highlighted is for me what distinguishes the fundamental difference in psychology between Sunderland and Newcastle fans.

Moments of occasional success wedged between some unbelievable traumatic memories, apathy and hardships vs. mass delusions and entitlement stemming solely from a good run in the 1990s, leading extreme anger to be vented at even premier League mediocrity.
