The clip is 94, and the super league was talked about even back then. Probably just coincidence they used Barcelona for the clip rather than any of the other European big names.I’m confused by that clip. Obviously he wasn’t talking about a super league in the way that term was understood to mean last year, but I can’t think what he’s referring to unless this video wasn’t actually from 1994 at all (it does look later) so either he is talking about the preseason friendly league from 2002 (0-2 loss so seems unlikely) or he is talking about the 3-2 UCL win from 1997 and has just completely got the name of the competition wrongdid people casually call the UCL the ‘super league’ in the 90’s?
