It’s a long term game
They can’t rid themselves of their horrendous human rights violations in 6 months.
Most nufc fans are apologists now.
In 5-10 years the Saudis are hoping that the majority of the world see their backward views normalised by their increased ownership of sports Events and teams.

I'm not separating the regime from the club. Of course if we win anything it will be thanks to the investment we receive from the Saudis.

I'm separating the cultural differences which are the cause of the human rights issues from investment in a football club. Because the two aren't directly linked, investment in a football club is not the reason for the human rights issues.

I'm not saying that the Saudis give a toss about us either, but they don't have to. They want the club to be successful, and so do I
