So close. In reality you thought our reaction was over the top, because you were comparing him to your own owner(s). You maybe don't think the Glazers are half as bad as Man Utd fans make out, ditto Kroenke, or whomever. And, when you have had the owners you have it's understandable. Yet, to some clubs, your old owners look very appealing. Short, for example, pumped millions into the squad, he got rid of managers who weren't performing, he left you debt-free (I might be wrong here).

But everybody's troubles are their own.

The key problem NUFC fans had with Ashley is that he had no interest in growth, in being the best possible NUFC we could be. He was absolutely content with Premier League survival, had no interest in Europe or cups, or top half or anything we had been doing for the 14 years prior.

Haven't got that much of an opinion on Gordon*, but do know if he played for Porto and had a forrin name, folk would be salivating over the prospect of signing him without seeing him kick a ball.

*other than him looking like a cross between the bad witch out of the Wizard of Oz and an anthropomorphised Dorito.

It’s just a recording they all use to save a few quid. Simon Grundy usually talks about us quite a lot.
Metro used to have a really good news reader on did a few impressions but left for bigger and better things and replaced him with a cheap version with zero charisma.
