When it all comes crashing down I think we have found our poster boy. Timeline had hardly any mag content until the takeover and was largely Spenymoor ladies team. Daughter is a graduate from Leeds (I think that's the gown) who have the values of "collaboration, compassion, inclusivity and integrity"...could you even write it! It is one thing supporting the team, wearing black and white stripes as after all they have been worn for ever but to actively post a pic with the tag "Supporting our Saudi owners". FFS - read the room! They have just been associated with 9/11. Integrity!

Funnily enough, unlike other businesses they can operate at a loss with. They can’t in football. They don’t realise that PSG & Man City are now global brands. Look at the city group, Jordan with psg etc. the mags will do what Everton did spend big money on mediocre players flounder mid table for a few seasons until the over spending catches up with them. No one can do what psg and Man City did anymore and they don’t seem to realise just cos you’ve got a rich owner, doesn’t equal a clubs wealth. Within 10 years they’ll either be sold on, languishing in the championship or cease to exist. As exciting as it probably is for them it’s also dangerous to spend big money without making anything back. The Saudi state already proved they don’t care about profit as long as they can throw big money at sports just so people will look at them for long enough
