Mega Munch isn’t a million miles away, quick cab over to Nottingham

They are just rewriting all of the cricketing knowledge we have learned and understood over decades of watching the game and its class . Will they just stick the opposition in now every time we win the toss irrespective of conditions? Will it make opposition teams think differently when they would automatically bat?

We still cant help it though - every time someone is out off an overly attacking shot then the criticism comes out but we have to remember that what might seem a reckless dismissal is going to commonplace moving forward.

Apparently he could play for Yorkshire in the T20 quarter-final match at Surrey tomorrow.

He looked mentally shot all winter. Even in the interviews after the draws. Great to see how happy he looks now and his game matches it
Said it for years, teams should let their best players focus on just being the best players in the team. Too often they impact their best (usually batsman) players by giving them the captaincy - one of the things that works well with Morgan in the one day game, he just lets others get on with being the best players in the world around him and he takes all the burden.

Root should have just been left to get on with being the best test batsman in the world, which is what he should be but hasn’t shown for the last few years

In the future do we change the team in order to fit this style of play?

Perhaps when we think we can chase any target, are we not too interested in slowing the run rate. Eg. Having a spinner for long spells. As it is all about bowling the opposition now whatever the target, then chasing it?

Or do we want to decrease our tail, e.g. Having a bowler who can bat a bit might be better?
