All adds to the selling price further down the line. Right now they can do no wrong so would be stupid not to get whatever they can to make extension/new ground feasible.

That expanding capacity to 82,000 is a good idea, along with the many many delusions of the past, “They’re trying to change” being my current favourite

Dortmund have the highest average attendance in 21st century with 70k.

Newcastle average 50k, SAFC 37k (very decent considering 8 seasons outside the top flight in that time)

This talk of 80k season tickets and a 120k stadium is f***ing ridiculous.😂

That was my thinking as well. The Reubens will be looking to buy up any land/property they believe will add to their portfolio. Can’t see SJP being expanded due to the listed buildings nearby for the East stand and the exorbitant cost of adding a few few thousand more seats to the Gallowgate. Most mags won’t want to move out of the city centre, so all they can do is basically give SJP a coat of paint and renew a few carpets.
