It’s the no other prem teams interested that makes me wonder. The new Man Utd manager must know him and look at the shit show of centre backs he is inheriting…why wasn’t he interested?
 

Been talking to one of the resident Mags that get into the club tonight. He reckons he's had to buy a membership card for £35 just to be in with a chance of going to a match next season because there won't be a general sale for any tickets next season. So basically the Saudis are making them pay up front just to be in with a chance of buying a ticket for a game next season without any guarantee of them getting one :lol:

Call me old fashioned here but give me what we have any day of the week when we can rock up on the day and buy a ticket as and when we choose.

Modern football eh. They are welcome to that shite.

So far gone & washed they can't see what's happening. Average fan will be priced out within 3 years. They're not doing it for the love of all things Toon. It's a massive project to whitewash their image & they'll want to make money on it.
 
Mentioned on here earlier in week that I spoke to a mag in Wooler on Sunday who has stopped going because prices these days are mental and fears they will be worse to come. He praised our prices but stated we'll be in champ for years. I said prem spending is f***ing nuts anyway so will do me.

Also, I can recall many of our fans in uproar when Mike Ashley pulled a similar ticketing stunt in order to purchase away tickets.

Sometimes our fans do themselves no favours whatsoever 🙄
