Russian troops withdraw from snake island. It is now back under Ukrainian control.

Not sure it makes a lot of difference strategically? However, it does have importance in making that patch of the black sea safe again. hopefully gets them exports going again soon.

Ukraine said the took it. Russia said they withdraw as a gesture of goodwill, to allow grain exports etc. However, the scars on the land suggests Russia story is bollocks but who knows?

It certainly doesn’t look like ‘good will’. Looks like it was peppered with missile strikes and they just had to get off.

Strategically if it eases food exports, it could limit global discontent around food prices which was of huge concern.

Yeah hopefully, I read that Turkey have refused access to any new Russian ships. Hopefully that means, once they are gone they are gone.

They have a lot of influence everywhere."

They can’t resupply it as it’s now in missile range so they very bravely ran away after getting f***ing paggered by huge amounts of ordnance. I’m guessing the Ukrainians went in with dinghies at night to take it back too.
