BINGO.....Jesus Wept 🤣🤣🤣🙈🙈🙈
The 33,000 waiting list mentioned again shows the delusion of some thinking that's how many individual people wanted a season ticket. Aye there's no denying there were 1,000's of genuine fans looking for tickets but some will have had multiple devices logging onto the website along with lasses, brothers, sisters, bairns, mams, dads, work mates devices etc. A few will have been on being nosey to see what was being offered and a few will have been on to try to get tickets so they can tout them out later at higher prices and no interest at all in going to games.

I guess many are hoping for the 90's all again but this time it's a lot different and isn't going to be as 'easy' as the starting blocks are a bit different now along with a few more established teams at the top. Even hoying big money at players isn't guaranteed success as look at the position of Everton. It could all go tits up for the Mags and it would be stupid to extend SJP anytime in the near future but it's clear a few are getting all giddy about it. They could dump a 90,000 stadium there tomorrow but if they don't get anywhere near the top 6 in the next few seasons and end up a few places higher up then the interest to get season tickets will be long gone and it will look like SOL has the last few seasons.

Every 5,000 extra fans added to capacity @£500 a ticket means another £2.5m a year which isn't a huge sum at all when you get that just for winning a Champions League game. All this running before they can walk talk is just fantasy (though we'd be doing summit similar). However, it will be a long time before any sensible owner looks at extending SJP making more fans being able to attend one of the priorities. Chances are prices will go up and be justified by the investment and areas will also be upgraded to then charge higher prices. This would make any extra revenue from increased capacity even less of a bonus and it's all about supply & demand. Extra demand is clearly there and it will be the fans who will face higher ticket prices before the owners significantly increase or relocate SJP, if at all in the next decade.

:edit: I came on to take the piss out of the 33,000 claim but added quite a bit more to it once I started  This 33,000 wanting STs will now become the same 33,000 who watched the CAT case video ( ) not realising that number was visits and not unique viewers. Nor the fact a few will have been SAFC and even fans of other clubs wanting to see what is was. I even clicked it a few times through the day but turned it off as it was shite but even using my phone and laptop will have added to views.
