A great point. Pete Graves isn't an idiot; he just likes to portray himself as one. You don't get to his sort of position in media if you're an overly-emotive stereotype of a Geordie.

He's clearly pandering to our fanbase for popularity, at the cost of his self-respect, I'd assume. But, then again, these types will do anything for a bit of limelight; it's how they get to where they are.

I don't actually think he goes there. He might stand outside waiting for the fake gremlin bus to come, with his bag of snacks from herons. But he described the bar as a proper dive, which it really isn't. I know it's not exactly the ritz, but I don't think it's a 'proper dive'.

Doesn't need to be any larger than 60,000 and that would be optimistic for some games. You are correct that Town Moor would be the ideal scenario, not happening though. Could look at where the Arena is now i suppose.
