I see a few knackers jumping on Kieran tweet (and that other lass) saying "Warraboot when Ashley did it?"

Aye Ashley did it but wasn't hiding it behind a sponsorship and putting extra millions into the club's coffers, he did it to show what it could look like to potential sponsors but nobody took it up (same with the changing of the ground name). Given PIF own 50% of Noon then who is to know if they are only paying 50% of the sponsorship deal?

Many of them moaned when Ashley did it trying to 'sell' the advertising and sponsorship but now they are welcoming the Saudis with open arms using their club as a sports washing Saudi vehicle and don't give a fuck anything else.

They say they got their club back? Have they fuck and that 3rd shirt (probably away short colours soon enough) is another example of them becoming a Saudi plaything.

Every mag that goes to the games or who watch their team on TV have now lost all their dignity, self respect, and self awareness. They know where the money to buy players is coming from, they know that their owners blow children up, stone women to death and execute innocent people.

Yet they still dress up as Saudis they still gloat about how they're the richest club in the world they defend any single accusation against their horrific barbaric new regime which tbh is disgusting behaviour.

Bit sad this like.

The two big North East teams have some of the best support in the the world, never mind the country.

As a region we should be proud. I know this is the SMB but some of the crack on here is worse than you see on Facebook.
 
Glad I got to see the game, but the scariest night of my life, I went with my Uncle and got separated from him in a crush in the que for the Roker End, I got pushed under a turnstile. He didn't get home and me dad finished up having to look to identify bodies at 2 mortuaries. Eventually found him in Monkwearmouth hospital with concussion and broken ribs. The continual crush of the crowd and the heat was unreal, eventually got passed down to the front and sat on the cinder track to the side of the goal.
