Lunch was a disaster. First in Matfen pub shut, me Mam then said there’s a great pub in Great Whittington. That had only just reopened as it had been shut for 5 years, but they were not doing food. Finally got squeezed into a nice pub in Newton, but they didn’t do ham, egg and chips. 🤬

I'm a big fan of ham, egg & chips.
Had it in a pub in Bolton before this year's thumping.
