Burn has played really well according to reports and what little I've seen of him. Good bargain for a PL side.
Sold by Brighton, that powerhouse of a club for not an extortionate fee that they couldn’t refuse…

Absolutely no potential to get anywhere near their money back, I’ll give them trippier, the rest are no better than they already had, lower premier league players. I’d have dubravka in goal over pope n all
Already paid for by the TV money alone for staying in the Premier League as well as getting an extra 22.5M for finishing 11th

Our options at left back instead of Targett were Matt Ritchie, Dummett, Jamal Lewis, occasionally Manquillo. Targett is better than them.
Burn is better than Lascelles, Fernandez or Dummett as a partner for Schaar.
Wood has been poor and is clearly not better than Wilson. But better than Gayle for the way we have been playing defintely.
Pope is probably as good as or better than Dubravka. Certainly better than Woodman or Darlow and increases the quality of our goalkeeper competition for places.

A lot of Rafas shite in there.

Gayle, Schaar, Fernandez and Ritchie.

I think Ritchie and Schaar have been good signings, Fernandez average. Gayle was signed to score goals in the championship and hasn't done much since in the top flight. They did try to move him on a few times but nobody would pay the fee asked. Had to increase his wages just to tempt him to go on loan to WBA.

Manquillo and Lewis?

Burn is better than Lascelles, Targett is better than Dummet and Richie. Pope and Dubravka is hard to call, but we’ve now got two very good keepers instead of one. It’s gradual improvements which ever way you want to spin it.

Eighty thousand screaming Geordies every week.

Not like the mag reporters to get carried away.

Absolute shite.

From what I read on the chronicle anyone who bought a ticket from 2019/2020 onwards who doesn't have a season ticket but bought a match day ticket or did have a season ticket could apply.

They were trying to claim what 40,000 season ticket holders in the championship?

COVID kicked in March 2020 games were suspended then games were behind closed doors for a very long period.

Then those that could jumped back on the season ticket bandwagon when the beheaders looked like getting in.

So let's say conservatively they've got 40,000 season ticket holders still, 4,000 for away fans. Two seasons of covid and they still had 30,000 different people buying match day tickets when Ashley was in charge for 70% of that period.

Absolute f***ing bollocks. They'll lap it up though.

That’s crazy talk mate. What difference does it make where a player is signed from. Are they shite unless you buy them from a top 6 club. I’m sure Man City are after their right back so how does that work, or should they not bother because he plays for Brighton.
How can this be? Yesterday his odds on signing for Saudicastle were into 3/1 I read!!?!
That’s how bookies make money

cucurella is a very good young left back who brighton will not want to lose. burn is bog standard and was no great loss to them as dunk and webster are better than him

Yeah gradual.

Not massive changes. You've spent 15m plus wages on a lower half Premier league fullback. Not sure what the relevance of being better than Dummet Is.

I'd be expecting better than Targett if I had unlimited funds

So that's where owld bong eye got his 30k wanting to snap up 1k tickets.

It's a bit like us claiming we could sell 50-60k because the 33k average were not always the same people.
