1 word:Would love to see his maths gsce result pulling figures out the air like that, 25k screaming geordies locked outside now, must just be 300k inside the ground then
25k locked out from having to give 12k season tickets away a couple of years ago![]()
I read that as him having a go at NUFC fans for saying we are obsessed with them, yet they are constantly referencing us as per the example in the article.one of the comments is absolutely astonishing -
An interesting idea, Paul, but surely it would be more cost effective to try and buy back the Strawberry Place land - even at an astronomical price compared to what it was sold for. Of all the greedy, selfish and spiteful things the fat Oaf did to the club that has to rank as the worst.
As a side note, there must be 4 or 5 references to the mackems in the article. I know this is a fanzine, they’re the traditional enemy and it’s part of the craic but it amuses me to keep reading, article after article, how obsessed THEY are with US.
the absolute irony of the comment.![]()

He'll probably get pelters for saying it like
Looks to me that Staveley hasn’t got access to the Saudi investment fund at all. Why else would you borrow money from Mike Ashley when you could just lift it out of there?
They will only be able to spend what the club generates, as was the case under Ashley.
They threw money at 30 year olds and put them on 2.5 year contracts in January - those players cost more than 40m and are already worth next to nothing.
Flogging Saint Maximin seems quite important, given how hard they have been pushing for it. But realistically I don’t see him as a Spurs player, even though he’s been heavily linked to them, and where else is he going to go?
I expect the couple of reports indicating that they need to sell to buy are correct, hence the lack of transfer activity.
Lack of transfers certainly isn’t to do with FFP anyway. The way Ashley ran the club means that’s hardly a factor.
They certainly won’t trouble the top 6 imo. The whole club still looks geared towards hitting about 45 points, same as all bottom half teams. Not much needs to go wrong for any of those clubs to find themselves in trouble at the end of the season.
Really don’t think they should be 50/1 for the drop. 8/1 or 9/1 seems more realistic. I’ve put a couple of quid on at 50/1 - am hopeful of getting a run for my money.
Hopefully clubs and agents continue to take the piss out of the Richest Clerb In the WerldYou must be logged on to see media items

Managed to mention Mackems three times while talking about ground improvementsSo he’s saying that Man Utd and Liverpool’s fan bases are only big because they are built on success
And Newcastle’s could grow to rival theirs, if they have a bit of… SUCCESS
Also his suggestion “find a football pitch in the city and build some temporary stands for a season”![]()

Now Bruno is a different matter..
Wait and see. He’ll be a stand out in the Brazil WC team too.they'll end up signing him later in the window
Based on a handful of games- a chunk of them dead rubbers?
His idea about finding a playing field somewhere and erecting a temporary stadium around it big enough to fit 100k fat bellied Geordies is unbelievably stupid. I can't believe he has thought of that and had it published for other people to read.Managed to mention Mackems three times while talking about ground improvements![]()
