Couples who don’t have kids.

I have always thought having kids is part of why we are here but if people don’t want them then good luck to them. Many young women who are very strident about not having kids have a change of heart when the clock starts ticking.

The holiday thing is the massive difference you notice.Me and the mrs loved city breaks, getting up and a cuddle before breakfast, mooch about, drink and a spot of lunch, slurping in the afternoon, back for a nap,out again on the evening and it's great.

Now it's booking a cottage for a week, being more knackered than usual as they are not in nursery a few days, and planning days around them. Eating out is never easy but possible.

As others have said though yoy still have moments like swimming with them for the first time and seeing reactions to stuff that are priceless.

When you have kids and go for bait the quality of time you spend out has fuck all to do with how the food, service was etc etc and all dependant on whether the younguns have decided to play ball

Perfectly normal and natural to have kids. Most people have them afterall & it’s what we were put on the planet to do. Doesnt suprise me one bit a hell of a lot of the SMB are without child tbh. Just an observation.

 Are you saying people who don't have kids are abnormal, unnatural and failing at life ?

We took them skiing earlier this year. What an absolute f***ing palaver that was.

Like I say the price we paid £390 for a week. 4th and 7th July is £924. £1120 on 21st July and £1320 on 28th July which is almost a grand each more than a month earlier. Mental

I take the £360 fine on the chin for the cost savings.
The majority do that. And I say that as someone who has ticked all those boxes.

Mind, I put off having children until a point I really was ready. Which for me was having seen plenty of the world and could no longer be arsed with caning it on weekends
I remember you saying you were never going to have kids and some other poster saying come back later and 'tick tock tick tock' which I think was a reference to biological clock.

That’s a temporary state of affairs. Holidays get better when kids get older. Great company. Bit tiring playing in the pool / footy / games all day but it’s a nice tired. Cards / daft games in the evening having a few beers. I love my family holidays.

No reason not to get away here and there with just the Mrs if you’ve got family to help.

Never missed a stag do. Depends on your partner I suppose. And money. Having a family doesn’t stop you doing things, there’s just more thing to do. Some compromises obviously.

Mind, I loved life before kids too and can see why people would choose a life of permanent pleasure seeking hedonism.

Can't be for certain I said never, and more likely said the missus has shown zero interest to that point (happy to be proven wrong on that one mind). But on your point, I don't have a biological clock ;)

Must have been someone else. Whoever it was he kept replying ticktock over and over. He had it in his head that all women want kids unless they are 'barren'.

I reckon someone like Harry will have said that.

That's the one. Tick tock. 😁😁

I'm so childless that I hate the notion out there of friends of a couple with a baby can become an "aunt" and "uncle". Piss off, I have no connection to that child just because I know you.
