Is it fuck. It’s always got an edge.
Plus, the more games in football that have a bit rivalry/passion, the better.

No different to Coventry then. How can it a a derby against a small town in Yorkshire?

It is not THE Derby. It is a Derby. Nowhere near the levels of playing the Mags but more than playing QPR ETC

I think that is fair.

There is only one real derby as far as I am concerned and that is The Mags, but obviously Middlesbrough is more intense than your average match.

I've always been quite happy to see 'boro do well though when they aren't playing us. Obviously the same can't be said about NUFC.

Yes it has an edge to it and I live amongst them in Guisborough
However. It will never be a derby match for me.
We have qn edge when we play Leeds, Hull, Coventry, Hartlepool, Darlington and a few others.

But they are not Derby's.

I never said it was a derby.
I’m pointing out all those so eager to pass it off as just another game.

I’m also glad we have a bit rivalry/edge with Coventry.
The more the better as it adds to the atmosphere. Football has become sterile enough without wanting it to be.
