You mean on his way back from the doughnut shop surely? Certainly a big unit;inevitable really. These days Harmison looks like he's heading for the doughnut shop.
Yes,don't really have a problem with staging games slightly the other side of our borders if it makes financial sense. Bostock appears to have been a shrewd appointment, club heading to be debt free by 2024.We’ve got 5 players in the England squad(s) and the finances are (we’re lead to believe) on a very solid footing. So not really that interesting.
Pretty bang on when you put it into perspective.
I’ve mentioned it elsewhere, but the club are at the mercy of clubs wanting to host and absorb the costs of hosting.
That nursery ground would’ve solved a lot of problems. If it had been built…
We've had 5 players involved in England set ups in the past e.g. Harmi, Colly, Plunkett, Colonel, Davies. We replaced them with Hussey, Divo, Benks, Blackwell etc. This lot have been replaced by Bancroft, Peterson,Turner,Maddinson,Bedingham. Not quite the same pedigree.
2nds are winless,3 rd bottom of 2nd XI championship and not one single player has graduated from the academy and established himself at senior level during Franklin's 4 year tenure.
I find that a shocking inditement.
