BBC look north

It is a quite deliberate policy against the club and therefore the city. They are very quick to report any negative issue
People have complained about it for years while other's have simply said ignore it. It's some years since I lived in the region and image of Sunderland projected by the BBC as a second rate city was obvious even then. It seemed to transcend the football rivalry. Having observed it from the outside for a few years it has become beyond a joke they don't even pretend to care that a lot of people outside if Newcastle feel excluded by the BBC. Sunderland just doesn't seem to fit in to the notion of exclusivity that BBC Newcastle's executives clearly seek

Dawn is just a puppet, the ones who are in charge - program controllers etc for Look North will be the sly Mag twats. Look at the credits at the end to see who they are then look up their social media profiles.
The coverage last night was beyond embarrassing- even for their low standards .I take great delight that it must have absolutely rankled them that SAFC and over 50k supporters had the dream weekend with no bother at all.
If that had been Newcastle then local BBC would have commissioned a one hour special.
Luckily it’s only us oldies who watch shite local news - the younguns get their fix from online platforms so won’t be influenced like the old days .
We are on the up and they hate that
The scum need to spend billions and achieve champions league to keep their hordes happy.
I know which I prefer

Moved south in the 90’s just as the Geordie nation was been invented by Hall and co. It all changed then end emboldened the bias. The kick back was an inevitable deepening of the animosity and that fuelled even more bias by ā€œLook Newcastleā€ and the Geordie press. It’s wrong but the bias stems from an unprofessional editorial team. The BBC should stamp it out!!
The sheer sight of his name 🤮

The BBC TV studio in Leeds broadcasts its verson of Look North for Yorkshire & the North Midlands and provides the local TV news & sport for the city of York & the surrounding area, The Newcastle studio therefore needs to be asked how often does it normally provided reviews and coverage of York football club's games when that job clearly falls within the remit of York's local Look North programme which is broadcast from Leeds .

I can't remember which way around it is, but FWIW having lived in York the default local news you got on one of Freeview / Sky was Look North NE & Cumbria. Obviously a joke having them on before us mind but it is (at least for some people there) their local TV news too & NE&C have always covered York.

Compared with the extensive and genuinely positive coverage by ā€˜Tyne Tees’/ITV that was on immediately beforehand, it was acknowledged on sufferance by ā€˜Look Geordie’

Good Morning Britain on Monday morning made a big issue out of us going up with Susannah Reid congratulating Kevin Maguire who said it was the first one he had missed at Wembley due to a wedding in Shields.

Not even headlines
Jeff is and York are mentioned before us
Since when has York being in look north from Newcastle sphere

I’m writing a letter of complaint
Jeff mlf I’m disappointed
Jeff should go back to reading the sport. As a presenter he comes across as a bit dim.
