BBC look north

In my opinion there are more news items about Newcastle, especially the ‘good news‘ items. There are also more vox pops, for example on Northumberland Street. Sunderland gets a share, albeit smaller, and I don’t think it is as rosy a picture. Just my perception. If you live in somewhere like Murton or Stanley you never seem to be on.

The football coverage follows the same pattern, and if there’s a heartwarming story re nufc to be had, we will see it.

Who Jeff Brown? 100% a big SAFC fan. Grew up on the north side and seen at home games. Won’t always be his decision how they report things.
I agree and his mother still lives in Fulwell.

as far as I am aware the news readers are just that, they read what is in front of them.
It is the editors that control the content
