2nd XI - 2022

In the Warwickshire v Gloucestershire T20 second eleven central group game today there was an A Ul-Haq playing for the hosts .Is he the lad who plays for CLS and played for Durham seconds.Checked the NVP videos and the lad bowling had a similar action.Plus no name on shirts.Any Keets fans or players know 🤔

From yesterday?
Durham lost the first game by 24 runs and the second by 8 wickets. The highlight of the second game (other than the workmen successfully completing the reinstallation of the seats in one section of the Trapdoor) was when a small rat scuttled along the seats in front of the Health Club and then made itself comfortable on the outfield while Hales pointed at it in between encouraging Patel to try and get his deliveries up to 40mph.

We were well beaten but it was so warm I took my jumper off.:D

2nd Team T20 at Leicester. Leicester 176/7 . Steel 8 ball 20, Crawshaw 4-0-14-1. 37 runs in last 2 overs. Durham currently 64/0 after 7 overs. Clark and Crawley 29* apiece.

Leicestershire 55/3 off 7. Gibson and McAlindon continue to learn the harsh realities of T20 cricket but stick at it and have a wicket apiece 👏

Leics 153/8 .Were 94/8 with one batsman retired hurt .Quickfire 47 from Griffiths took total to 150 with Coggers only going for 3 off final over 👏👏

Can't see Drissell playing tonight so that leaves 10 from Birmingham game plus Olly Gibson.Be interesting to see if Bushnell plays in the 2nd game this afternoon.Failing that Quentin Hughes would do a canny job 🤔

AJ Tye will be playing tonight also, so I'd imagine Tye will be in for Drissell
