Looked fantastic there like

Penny for @rentaghost thoughts ;)
I see Curran getting consistent 50s

I’ve always said if he played 2 or 3 years red cricket he’d average a lot he has the talent he’s just not played enough

Not fit enough to bowl at but his win record for England is remarkable

100 for Cook, 71st proffesional

Some big scores today, good to see

Bowlers need to work for wickets, the best will stand out

Pleased for Sibley and any prospective England opener that gets runs. I don’t take much store on the clips mind. If you are going to score a hundred you are going to play some good shots. I would say though that he did play a couple of confident ones through the offside which is encouraging. Good luck to him, make it a massive one and do it again.

this is a lad who has something raw, doesnt always play, but you wonder if England should be looking at him in a lions squad or someit

Definitely caught my eye last season, quick and aggressive when I've seen him. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him involved in the one day squads soon.

Aye I know that aye but for a player criticised for being so leg side was a lot of offside shots there

Aye, I agree, bit different, they seem to fancy Topley, who isnt as quick

You’d never get hitting like that in the 16.4 pop and crisp trophy.
Just great to see the England captain start fantastically well!!

Great statement of intent and positivity that’s the way to play

Bodes well as a confident Stokes exactly what the England side needs!

Looks like we agree then big hitting is good :D

Seriously thought mate over the moon for him fantastic start to his season!

Sibley carrying his bat

Bumble, who was commentating and never rated him, said he looked very good and much more side on

Matches what I was told before season

I personally think he has a test future as he has the mental side more than most of our players just a few technical faults

Even then he usually got through the new ball

He bats really well with Ben Stokes too which is Intersting…

Noticed that scorecard earlier and immediately thought it was an odd selection that he (and a few others) would play against a bunch of Sri Lankan kids.
Yeh, but surely if they're going to develop they need to face experienced opposition. Presumably they're the cream of Sri Lankan younguns. Not exactly rookies.

That isn’t Kent’s concern though is it?

If it were Durham and we were playing our 84 year old allrounder in a meaningless midseason friendly against a load of touring kids I’d be a bit nonplussed.
