10 seasons in the 90’s, with the league, league, fa, champions league and europa league to play for - 50 trophies in total. How many did Newcastle win? Remind me please.

You had a number of drunken European mini breaks and a few days out on the piss in Newcastle. But footballing wise you won feck all and history is about to repeat itself. I’ll remind you the Shearer fee was equivalent of 222m today - you spent 100’s of millions (in today’s terms) and won nothing at all.
:lol::lol:

Yeah we probs did better than my prediction of 1-3 but other than a couple of half chances, no need for them to break sweat.

We rested Chris Wood. Probably balances out them resting Salah I reckon.

Adam mate, I know you didn’t get your signed photo but no need to take it out on other people ;)
I did get it actually in the end.

He loves reminiscing about the 90’s and winning fuck all, don’t you @Brilliant Disguise @Wolfbeard @Fitzgerald

Wonder who his next alter ego will be

Howe has done a very decent job with the mags He's had a very good budget as well like so that helps I suppose

They're still not very good to watch Unfortunately for the mags there's a high percentage of them who have gone way overboard with the job he's done and how good they actually are

The end of the day there's the usual 6 or so big clubs who will always be top 6 most seasons then you have the 3 promoted clubs who will usually be in or about the bottom 3 then you have 11 clubs who can finish in any particular position in any particular season from 7th to 17th

Important insight. Thanks.

So you're saying he's in with a shout for manager of the year?

Its true though isn't it. The big clubs always mainly finish top 6 year after year after year.

Then you have the 3 promoted teams and maybe a couple of the usual perennial strugglers

Then you have the rest who are on about a par with each other and only a few injuries to key players can be the difference between finishing 7th to 13 th or so

Why ?

You said he's done a very decent job. Exceeded expectations. Even got Joelinton looking like a good player.
Klopp and Guardiola doing well but meeting expectations.

Biggest prick out there this clown, got his tongue so far up Newcastles backside.
